Bathurst Rifle Club Inc., 13^th April 2024, 8/900 yards, Series 3 Match 11/12. 

          Saturday saw the final round of Series 3 competition held at 900 yards in cooler weather with a light but sometimes variable westerly breeze which allowed more than half the field of shooters to score above their handicap for the distance.

          John Coghill was the only Target Rifle shooter competing allowing him to add to his yearly aggregate score in the class without competition. Sporter Class shooter James Clarke again scored well losing just two points during the afternoon to finish ahead of Dennis Lavelle in the class.

          Jeff Eppleston had consistent results shooting in F Standard class with the leading score ahead of Khoby West-Kennett who scored well after his long break from shooting with Dave Butler next experiencing some challenging conditions to keep his group centred during. Geoff Willis had a successful day shooting in F Open Class losing just one point during each stage to finish ahead of a strong finishing Mal Wright and then Ben Wright.

          Shooting will move to the 700 yards mound next Saturday due to the shuffled program finishing the season.
